Every extra second of load time pushes visitors toward the back button before they even see your offer. Test your store on a mid-range phone, not just your laptop.
2. Unclear value proposition above the fold
If a visitor can't tell what you sell and why it matters within 5 seconds, they leave. The headline and hero image need to do that work immediately.
3. Too much friction at checkout
Every extra form field or forced account creation costs you orders. Strip checkout down to what's essential.
4. No urgency or social proof near the buy button
Reviews, stock counters, or simple trust badges placed right where the decision happens can lift conversion without touching traffic at all.
5. Retargeting isn't set up

Separate campaigns by objective, not audience
Keep prospecting, retargeting, and lookalike campaigns in separate campaigns so budget doesn't get pulled unevenly between them by the algorithm.
Test one variable per ad set
Change only the creative, or only the audience, or only the copy — never all three at once. Otherwise you won't know what actually moved the result.
Give each test enough budget to exit the learning phase
Under-funded tests produce noisy, unreliable data. It's better to test fewer things properly than many things poorly.
Review at the ad set level weekly, not daily
Meta's algorithm needs time to optimize. Reacting to daily fluctuations usually does more harm than good.

Triggered the moment someone joins your list. Introduce the brand, set expectations, and offer a clear first step — often a discount or best-seller.
2. Abandoned cart flow
Sent when someone adds to cart but doesn't check out. Two to three emails, spaced a few hours apart, recover a meaningful share of "lost" revenue.
3. Post-purchase flow
Sent after an order. Confirms the purchase, sets delivery expectations, and plants the seed for a second order or review request. These three flows alone typically account for a large share of total email revenue for a new store — before a single broadcast campaign is sent.
